I wanted to comment on your mom’s comment about the tumbling tumbleweed song by gene autry, i do believe Gene wrote it, but Roy Rogers (before he got famous for roast beef sandwiches) popularized it. Roy’s version was featured in the Big Lebowski.

I’ve always wondered why US 83 existed. I’m glad others ponder that too. I am pretty sure it didn’t follow any pre-existing migration, etc routes. It’s just there … because.

Well Shamrock was swell, so the good vibrations were a big help.
And the rain didn’t happen today!
