Over the past several years, I’ve done a whole slew of mixes. It started with the idea that Christmas cards were more or less pointless and that a mix CD was a much better way to say “merry whatever.” I gave out mixes for Christmas for a few years and then started doing other mixes throughout the year. At first, it was every other month, and then it increased to once a month.
I kept up that pace for two years until I was burned out. But, I still plan to make mixes and post them to this site. I’ll also continue the Christmas mix tradition.

This is a 76 minute collage of songs and other bits made in tribute to the Beach Boys’ Smile LP. It explores the same themes of Americana, The Cycle of Life, and The Elements. Give it a listen, if you like.
