Maybe the scooter could make it (which seems odd to say, but I've taken the Vespa on roads I'd never take a car). The desert in the spring, I heard, is beautiful. I'd love that. But mountains are always fun - except winter. We shall conquer (in a nice way)! There’s a road right next to the one that we took yesterday that I’m dying to try, but can’t in the car.
