Things fall apart!

In the past (less than a) day, I’ve broken things.

I destroy everything.First, after bragging how my laptop would never die and that it was the “freakin Volvo of laptops,” I trip over the powercord, sending it crashing to the floor, breaking the power jack.

Basically, it won’t recharge. So I took it to the shop and it’ll cost me upwards of $200. I was this close to trying to fix it myself, but decided against it.

Then, this morning, I was doing dishes, washing and then placing them to my left to dry.

Suddenly I heard a crash. My stainless steel bowl fell, taking Sarah’s ceramic rooster bowl with it. My stainless bowl survived, of course. The same cannot be said about the rooster bowl (lovingly called “The Cock Bowl”).

The Cock Bowl is a bit harder to fix than the computer. I could glue it together, but you wouldn’t want to eat out of it after that. I searched ebay and the webs in general, but discovered that the “Rooster” series was discontinued years ago.

I’ll keep searching Ebay till I find it.

It’s a sad day. Cock Bowl, you will be missed.

In other news, this snow globe predicts that giant killer whales will do belly flops onto unsuspecting tourist boats.
