Is this really a problem in Seattle?

Seattle is great! There’s vegan doughnuts, great record stores, fun things to see and great friends living here. But there is another, darker side to Seattle that is little-mentioned…

Pot Bellied Pigs.

While on a leisurely stroll, Sarah and I happened upon a sign explaining in no uncertain terms that pot bellied pigs were not allowed beyond a certain point. And yes, even though the sign also disallowed cats and dogs, it was clear that pot bellied pigs were the intended target.

O Seattle! Why do you disrespect our cloven-hoofed friends? What atrocities have these snout-bearing cousins of the farm animal brought upon you? How many untold tales of horror do you, dear Seattle, hold within your many tangled streets and landscaped intersections?

The answers to these questions may never be known. But, O mighty Seattle, I consider this a chink on your valorous armor.
