I think we’re basically moved in and here are the pics to prove it…

Hi folks! We’re basically all moved in. Today we picked up a few more things and a few more plants. We now have six, I think. I assume we’ll get more.

The living room is quite nice, even if the couch is sort of ehh (it was free). Also, the kitchen table is really fun. The library/temple room isn’t quite finished. It needs a chair or pillow or something, also one of the shelves is missing the hardware to hold the shelves. Hopefully everything will happen shortly.

The walls are adorned with Sarah’s prints and paint-by-numbers. It adds some color to the stark white walls.

It seems like everything came together pretty quickly – however, there are some loose ends to tie up. By the end of this week, things should be in order.

I actually miss that place. I don’t miss the lack of heat or the stairs, but I really miss being on the roof. It was a cool apartment.

What a beautiful place! Very interesting lamp collection. I can’t believe you didn’t mention the leg lamp.
Looks like it’s coming together pretty quick. Good job!

Why thank you! I didn’t mention the leg lamp? Weird.

Did you know that the leg lamp was a real thing? It wasn’t just made up for the movie A Christmas Story. The soft drink company, Nehi (which later became RC Cola) had a logo of a woman’s leg up to the knee and a bit more (get it? Nehi = Knee-high). They ran a trivia contest and the winner received this leg lamp!

Oh yeah! And oh my God I can’t believe you have a giant spoon in your kitchen! Doesn’t it kind of scare you?

Hey—nice place. Can’t believe that you are completely moved in—-I am impressed. It must be having an OCD mother because I am the same way. The spoon and fork, The Last Supper, School Bus trophy, and the paint by numbers—wow you are Pap and Gram. At least you don’t have a salt and pepper collection!!!!

OCD mom sure helps with the keepin’ clean parts. And the unpacking.

As for the salt & pepper shaker collection, I *do* have a set from them, I’m just not sure where they are at the moment.

I’m glad the leg lamp found a new home. My mom was so confused about where it went. I told her, “Eric took it to Seattle.” She says, “Why is Evan in Seattle? I thought he was living in San Francisco with you?” She still gets the two of you mixed up. Lovely little place. I’m glad you kept the paint-by-numbers Last Supper and the spoon and fork. What ever happened to the Jesus clock?

I’m VERY thrilled with the leg lamp. Sorry about your mom’s… something. :)

I wish I knew what happened to the Jesus clock. I think I might have lost it along the way somewhere between the Montandon house and the small apartment. It’s a shame.
