The Moving Trip Day Two – That long bit of Maryland

The drive today was sort of a sad time for me. After the amazing day yesterday, I realized that such a Civil War-centric day would not be had by me again for a very, very long time. I’ll miss all of that quite a bit.

Washington County, Maryland is one of my favorite places on earth. I don’t think that I could really live there, but I wish I could be close enough to visit. Knowing that I will not be, sort of saddened the mood of the drive today.

The mood changed a bit when I got to listen to the Pittsburgh Steelers game on the radio, realizing that I probably won’t get to hear that again for a very long time. I could only listen till halftime because by that time, we had arrived at Rati and Dwija’s house at New Vrndavana, West Virginia.

By this time, the mood was light-hearted and fun. A good time was had by all!

But still, today was a bit of a downer. Tomorrow is a day spent with R&D, so it’ll be great.

Here are the handful of pictures from today.
