Area man unimpressed by new car.

imgp0064_800.JPGI don’t know. It’s a good car, I guess. But there’s nothing really exciting about it. I needed something cheap and reliable… oh, and something with heat.

But it’s just not fun to drive. The bus was fun to drive. And where is that? Yeah, still at the garage. I’ll be selling it, minus working transmission, when it’s warmer.

As for this car… we’ll see. I hate new cars. All of them. There are tons of older cars that I’d want. From VWs to Volvos, hey, even a Studebaker Lark would be fun! But no, here’s my Toyota.

Mehhh, it’ll get me where I’m going, but damn, I’m unimpressed.

Edit: I received two bits of advice from Gokula just now. 1) There are worse things than getting a new car. And 2) (said in a very deadpan voice) I think you’ll find it convenient having a car again.

And a little bit later: “… wait… what was I making fun of you about, I forget.”
