I’m sick of books about horses and dogs

Seriously. Stop it.

I think it started with the book Marley and Me. It was a super huge seller of a book about the worst dog in the history of dogs! And because it did so well, there are spin offs (including a children’s series) and copy cat books. Jon Katz just wrote a book about dogs. Fuck you, Jon.

And books about horses. I’m seriously tired of this. Last week, someone ordered a book about horses. On the customer order tag I wrote, “some fucking horse book.” The book came in today and I matched it up with the tag and thus the customer. It’s not like a lot of people are ordering horse books. Problem solved.

Fuck the dog and the horse it rode in on.

And I need to simmer.

The only animals we need are cows and cute internet kitties.

And bunnies.

*snap* I checked the link on cute internet but assumed kittens was the same thing. That’s what i get for lacking reading comprehension.

As an aside my wife has no concept on why i check out the cheezburger site and just die laughing at the pictures. She chalks it up to me teaching junior high and my sense of humor steadily becoming more sophomoric.

(when i first typed this response i typed sapphic instead of sophomoric. that certainly would have changed the meaning of my post. *laugh*)
