Little House on the Rooftop

I think I’ve found the place where I’ll be living for the summer, between travels, I mean. But first, a picture of Nicolet mowing the grass. Check out her awesome blue socks!

Bookstore customers and friends Bob and Jane own a building with a tiny (and I mean TINY) one room apartment on top of it.

It’s the tiny yellowish thinger on top of the building.

You enter through the back, or if you want, through the front. Walk down a corridor and then around a corner or two, up some stairs, then down another hallway, through a door, up some more stairs then a tiny, hobbit-sized door up a small staircase that sort of bends around and then up to the small as hell room.

I didn’t get any pics of the inside, but it’s about as large as my bus. But it has a bathroom. It’s seriously THE smallest bathroom ever. The shower is 2′ x 2′. Maybe 18″ x 18″. Seriously. I’ll be moving in come mid-June.

I am clearly out of shape. On the way up one of the staircases, I pulled or strained or got a cramp in my right thigh. It still hurts. I’m sore from walking up three flights of stairs?! I run up mine several billion times a day, so I don’t think it’s because I’m out of shape, I guess. It’s because… um… I have no idea, but freaky, huh?

Heard from Ashley. She’s having a blast in Washington state. Doing all sorts of woodland-type things. I’m rather envious. Grrr.
