Blood is compulsory

Well, like I mentioned before, I cut myself up a treat.

I was cutting a gasket using a pocket knife. Dumb? Hell yeah. I pressed with all my weight on it, not realizing that I had the knife pointing the wrong way. It collapsed upon my pinky finger, cutting in REALLY deep. I’m not sure if I hit bone, but I definitely bruised the hell out of it. It is sore and just hurts.

Oh, and there’s blood. There’s always blood.

See how happy I am at myself? Awesome, huh?

I finally have limited typing use of my right hand. And I’m REALLY tempted to start cutting the gaskets again. But I think that I should just wait for tomorrow.

You can’t tell how deep it is here because as soon as I’d wipe the blood away to take a picture, it would start to bleed again. I took a few others of it, but they’re blurry. Surprise!

So I washed up a bit and poured some hydrogen peroxide on it:

And then I bandaged it up and so far, it’s not bled through the bandage.

Carb and blood!

OK! I removed my carb, airbox and reeds today, after work.  Actually, it was after CHILI at Cherry Alley Cafe. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Anyway, all went well until I was in the middle of cutting the gaskets. I cut a HUGE gash in my hand. A LOT of blood. So I’m typing with one hand until the bleeding stops. Damn. This sucks.

So here is a pic of the carbs.  The one on the  left is the old one. The one on the right is the Vortex. It should boost horsepower and should boost fun. YAY!!
