And now, back to our show!

I shoveled. We got 8″ or so of snow today. So I shoveled. In the next few days, it’ll be cold, but come Thursday, it’s going to warm up fast. That means flooding. This weekend is supposed to be nice though. We’ll see.

It’s the time of year when the weather can go from 70 degrees and sunny to 20 degrees and snowing. March kind of sucks like that. Here anyway.

I don’t really know what March is like in Santa Rosa. They had a high of 73 today. Sunny. Low of 43.

Been thinking more and more about traveling lately. And it seems like something that is really solidifying. Sure, so many things have to fall into place before I leave, but I think it will work out.

And speaking of traveling, I have to start preparing the talk/slide show about Route 66. I think what I’m going to do is read through my trip journal and pick out the funny/interesting/historical bits and correlate pictures to go with it. Part of me really wants to do it. And part of me is a bit timid and worried that I’ll just babble on for a few hours with nothing much to say at all (you know, like how I write in this blog).

Awesome 80′s conversation today:

Olivia: Ugh! I have a Huey Lewis song stuck in my head!

Me: I like Huey Lewis! Which song??

Olivia: Don’t they do “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”?

Me: Um… *sings part of it*

Olivia: Yeah!

Me: No.

Olivia: Oh… who does it?

Me: Tears for Fears….

Olivia: Ohh.. so not Huey Lewis

Me: Um.. no.. not even close… were you totally unconscious through the 80′s?

Hehe. Oh she’s fun!

I’m watching an awesome Sci-Fi Channel original movie called “10.5.” It’s about a 10.5 earthquake that is supposed to knock most of the west coast into the Pacific. Haha. I LOVE disaster movies. They make me smile.

And now, back to our show!
